Sustainability is an important pillar in the policy of Leo de Kock. As of September 2013 we started applying ISO 26000-guidluines for the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in our company. This means that in all business decisions not only the effect on profit counts, but also the consequences for all stakeholders (ie, animals, humans and the environment). This is reflected in our business because sustainability plays a more important role.
We strive at operational decisions to a careful balance between people (human rights and labor practices), planet (environment) and profit (do honest business, consumer affairs and involvement in the development of the community). In addition, we are constantly looking for new opportunities in the field of sustainable products and services and strive to have the smallest possible ecological footprint.
Every year we publish our reference matrix according to ISO 26000. You can find this here.
The NEN has approved our self declaration and reference matrix ISO 26000 and placed on their publicationforum. You can also find this here.
